Jordan witnessed a decisive turning point in its history when it declared its independence from the British Mandate. This moment was the beginning of laying the foundations of the Jordanian state and building its political and economic institutions. Jordan became an independent state under the leadership of King Abdullah I, who has led the process of construction and development ever since

On this solemn day, we recall with pride the sacrifices of our forefathers and fathers who paved the way to freedom. We celebrate the spirit of national unity that unites us under the Hashemite flag, a spirit that characterizes Jordanians and drives them to work together for a better future
