Tecno Camon 30S Pro Specifications
The Tecno Camon 30S Pro features a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,080 x 2,436 pixel resolution, TUV Rheinland l low blue light certification, and 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G100 SoC processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There is also support for 8GB of virtual RAM that powers the customized Android 14-based HIOS skin on top.
In terms of cameras, the Tecno Camon 30S Pro has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX896 primary sensor with a 50-megapixel, 1-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There is a third sensor on the back but its details have not been revealed at the moment. The phone has a 5000mAh battery with support for 45W fast wired charging and 20W wireless charging. The company offers three charging modes for different scenarios: Super Charge (the fastest), Smart Charge, Smart Charge and Low Temperature Charge. There’s also an IP53 rating for water and dust resistance. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging. The Camon 30S Pro measures 164.64 x 74.64 x 7.75mm and has Dolby Atmos support.
What’s new in the Tecno Camon 30S Pro?
The Tecno Camon 30S Pro joins the existing Camon 30 lineup. It has the same 6.78-inch display as the Camon 30 4G and the panel used is also the same: AMOLED. However, the new model sees an upgrade in the chipset department as we get the new Helio G100 in the 30S Pro compared to the Helio G99 in the Camon 30 4G. We get the same 5000mAh battery in both models, but the Camon 30S Pro has only 45W fast charging compared to 70W in the standard Camon 30 4G. In terms of cameras, both models get a 50-megapixel camera on the back, but the 30S Pro gets two more sensors compared to a single 2-megapixel lens on the Camon 30 4G. We get the same 50MP lens on the front of both models.
